Postdoc

My background is in social-affective neuroscience with a special interest in the role of the mu-opioid system in threat, pain and reward processing. I recently finished a PhD at Utrecht University. In my current position at LAB lab I am connecting my experimental background with clinically relevant research by investigating the role of psychosocial risk factors (e.g. history of trauma, experience of stress, drug liking) and associated biological markers in the development of opioid misuse in clinical context. On a methodological level I have experience with pharmacological administration studies in combination with subjective measurements, psychophysiological and neuroimaging techniques.
