My background is in cognitive psychology (BA) and neuroscience (MA) with a specialization in judgement and decision making and reward processes. I have been part of L.A.B. lab since 2010, and Siri Leknes has been my mentor and supervisor throughout my Master and PhD projects. I am now postdoc on a L.A.B.-led project based at Oslo University Hospital.
The focus of my research is the neurochemistry of human reward processes and value-based decision making. Throughout my PhD I have been working on projects designed to investigate the role of the µ-opioid receptor system for reward experience and behavior in healthy humans as well as in patients in medication assisted treatment for opioid dependence.
